The Korean pop group the Wonder Girls just moved up another rung on the ladder of their U.S. success. The girls are scheduled to appear on the Wendy Williams Talk Show in New York on July 20, according to JYP Entertainment.
“It’s like a dream come true that the girls have been invited to the Wendy Williams’ Show that will be broadcast live all across the U.S. The members are both excited and nervous at the same time, and are currently preparing for the show. We are very proud to see the girls doing well after all the hard work they have been through,” said a JYP official in a press statement.
The host of the show, Wendy Williams, requested to have the girls on the show last June, and reports say that a replica of the stage from their music video “Nobody” has been built for the airing. The website, www.wendyshow.com, currently has video clips posted of Williams greeting the crowd in Korean and a short documentary on the music group.
The Wonder Girls are currently continuing their tour through the U.S., opening for the Jonas Brothers. The tour ends Aug. 31. The girls are currently based out of New York while they are in the U.S. working with JYP USA.
