Lollipop MVs: Who Did it Better?

So what is a Lollipop? No, it’s not just a candy! It’s actually the name of an awesome phone from LG taking Asia by storm. Some people may have heard of from the song “Lollipop,” sung by Korean pop idols Big Bang and 2NE1.

Well looks like they’re in for some competition. China has released their own version of “Lollipop,” performed by Korean newcomers f(x) and Chinese boy group M.I.C.

Both music videos are definitely similar (a lot of colors) since the phone itself has variety of colors. We want to hear your opinion! Who did it better?

    I’m going to have to say Big Bang & 2NE1. Maybe it’s because I’m amused by G-Dragon’s hat and TOP’s voice. But I do like f(x) & M.I.C. I want to know more about M.I.C.

    Yeah I really like the YG version. TOP’s voice just entertains me. But hey….Ummmm let me find out about M.I.C! I wanna see more of what those guys got!

    i will go with bigbang and 2ne1 maybe cause im yg bias i dunno but i do have to say that bigbang and 2ne1 started out lollipop with that wild dressing, the colors, the patterns, the hairstyle and all and for other ppl to try to do the same eh i just cant seem to beat that over BIGBANG’s

    anyways who knows if ppl understand wat i mean but eh…

    i’ll go with the version of Big Bang and 2NE1. i love the video and the combination of their voices. they started this “lollipop craze” with all the flashy colors and funky styles.

    The new version is weak and totally forgetable. I remember when I first heard Lollipop and when I first saw the video… I replayed it a million times. It was (and still is) kind of addictive. BB2NE1 >>>>>>>>>>>>> fx.

    What??? who says the new version is better???
    the original is much better not because they are BB and 2ne1, but because they did it much better…i mean you can REALLY compare it.
    Yes, in the new version, the dance better but when you look at the whole MV their dancing is too much, very stiff,robotic! the dance steps are too solid and all. (in my opinion) the dance step in the MV is very unlikely for the image of he product which is of lollipop-like, colorful and etc.,

    Bastah! 2ne1ANDbigbang’s lollipop still rocks!

    i choose the LOLLIPOP YG version… because it has nice and pleasing to the ears sounds.. and i totally adore the whole song and the mv is ozzing with charisma and personality.. even if Big bang and 2ne1 wore crazy clothes, they both got away with it and passed with flying colors..

    the fx mic version is ok, the sound at the beginning was ok but i got tired waiting the song to end.. the mv is missing something.. i cannot pinpoint it but the mv itself is lacking on something.. i guess fx and mic doesnt have chemistry at all.. the song is much upbeat and you can dance it hardcore unlike the YG version.. but i must say that fx and mic failed miserably in the dress department.. all of their clothes are miserably unmatched and bad! fx girls are pretty, thats a given but they did not pulled out that type of clothes.. Victoria looks bad, it doesnt complimenther peronality at all..

    well, i must stop now..
    for me, BIG BANG AND 2NE1 version is waaaayyyy better that fx-mic version simply because in the yg version they show the PHONE!!!!
    did you see fx or mic holding the lollipop phone.. =)

    I like the 1st version like it’s catchy but MIC has talents and complicated steps hope MIC will debut soon can’t wait for their complicated steps again^_^

    I’d say the Chinese version is better. I was bored watching the Korean version. LOOOOLILOOOOLILOOOLIPOOOOP… zzzzzzz. I’ll not buy a product that doesn’t get me upbeat to buy one.
